Both DirectAdmin and cPanel operate with CentOS only; unmetered hosted domain names; need a separate user account login for domain name, invoicing transaction and ticket support administration procedures; dedicated server root privileges. Control Panel ¹ - The Hepsia CP is a standard tool solely when combined with the Debian Linux OS and is offered as a gift. With Hepsia you can host unmetered TLDs under one single web hosting account. This is possible owing to Hepsia's efficient Domain Manager menu. The other web hosting Control Panel setups, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are obtainable solely in combination with CentOS. Unlike Hepsia, with them you have to use 2 different logins. This is so, because of the fact that cPanel and DirectAdmin do not supply any domain registration/transfer/management possibilities. If you choose Ubuntu as an Operating System for your dedicated web server, there will be no hosting Control Panel option.

Domains Hosted ² - unlimited domains can be hosted with all available hosting CP devices, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/manage your Top Level Domains under one hosting account. Regrettably, the cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting CP devices do not offer such feature at all - there is no Domain Manager section and therefore they necessitate 2 different logins: one domain name administration/billing/support account and one website administration account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel).

Operating System ³ - you will see that the Hepsia CP can work with Debian Linux only. It's free of cost to run it on your dedicated web hosting server. Hepsia is not offered with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin Control Panel setups can operate solely with the CentOS OS. Neither of them is available with Debian or Ubuntu.
